It’s o-fish-ally Friday and I like to stock the pond with different kinds of topics. Some of the topics might school you and increase your knowledge. Some will put a smile on your face to start off a reel-y good weekend. And others you may find too fishy to the taste, so feel free to catch & release.

Continue to Trust You are on the Right Path

It has been a challenging few weeks for me in many ways. Everything is difficult and nothing comes easy; at least that is how I have felt. Don’t get me wrong my faith is strong, but I am definitely going through the trust dryer getting tossed around and around as the heat gets turned up. I have found myself crying out to God, “Why can’t you just let that go my way to make things just a little easier for me?”

The truth is He is making my path narrow. The truth is that it’s not always the most fun to deal with in the flesh. Usually, after my cry out to God I follow up with scolding myself for being like the whiny Israelites complaining about manna dropping from the sky; as if I am somehow better than those untrusting foolish people. This week something different manifested in my heart. I started to just praise God in my prayers; knowing he is directing my steps even though it may not fit in with what the world may see as logical. I feel His comfort as I just decide to trust. It is all going to be okay.

Some of you are just seeking right now and having faith in God is your hang-up. Continue to seek and He will make himself known to you. But for many of you who have faith and easily claim Christ as your King and Lord of all, you may be fretting about circumstances, like me, it is time to trust; to stand tall in the face of adversity; to not doubt God! He has you in the palm of His hand!

Truth or Political Hyperbole?

Congressman Paul Gosar posted this statement:

“The left has made so much "progress" in such a short amount of time because their side wants to dominate while our side just wants to be left alone. We have to take our country back - it's well past time we start playing to WIN.”

No matter your political leaning, what does it mean to you to “play to win”? As a coach, I like to see what winning means to people.

Where is the Science?

So FDA approves Moderna (most of EU stopped Moderna shots in the under 18 age group due to Myocarditis) & Pfizer shots for babies and toddlers.

Uh, and there is no science showing it is safe or effective. See Rand Paul ask Fauci for the studies.

Surprised God is Real?

Gallup poll say 81% of the U.S. believes God is real. Many are pointing out the drop from 87% in 2017. I am actually shocked that many people do believe considering the turbulent times in our nation! This is good news as it seems that we don’t need to plant a ton of seeds, but we are obviously failing in our watering of the crops! Get out there Men and be a blessing!
